"I morgen bliver bedre": Retelling the story of Christian VII, Caroline Mathilde and Struensee
Book talk by artist Karoline Stjernfelt.
The Eighteenth-Century Research Forum will be welcoming award-winning and critically acclaimed comic book artist Karoline Stjernfelt, who will be talking to Professor Ulrik Langen about the enormous task of retelling the story of Christian VII, Caroline Mathilde and Struensee in her monumental three-volume work ”I morgen bliver bedre”.
Among other things, the conversation will cover her exciting work on visual representations of the 18th century. There will also be ample opportunity to ask Karoline Stjernfelt questions about her work.
Please note that the event begins at 5 p.m. and will be held in Danish.
